It starts with a long conversation.
We will begin by asking many questions: How long have you wanted a child? What drugs do you take regularly? The female partner has to tell us how long her menstrual cycle lasts, how regular it is and whether her menstruation is accompanied by heavy pain. Has she ever been pregnant before and how did the pregnancy or pregnancies go? These are only some of the questions that can lead us in the right direction.
The tests described below provide only an outline of the process. Depending on the results, some tests may be omitted or others added.
